Dr. J Paul Jackson
Optometrist
Dr. Jackson graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 with a B.S. in Biology. He attended the University of Houston, College of Optometry and received his doctor of Optometry degree in 1990. After practicing for one year in Manhattan, Kansas, Dr. Jackson moved to Durango and entered private practice in 1992. Dr. Jackson’s clinical interest include; glaucoma, anterior segment disease, keratoconus, macular degeneration, dry eye and contact lenses.

Dr. Richard J Schroeder
Optometrist
Dr. Schroeder graduated from Kansas State University in 1986. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1990 with his classmate Paul Jackson. From 1990 to early 2019 Dr. Schroeder was in a private practice in Manhattan Kansas. He joined Animas Eyecare in June 2019.
Clinical interests include: ocular pathology, specialized contact lens fitting, corneal refractive therapy and myopia control.
